Recipe of the Week... Honey Wheat Buns

1 1/4 cups warm milk
1 egg, beaten
2 tablespoons butter, softened
1/4 cup honey
3 c whole wheat flour
1 c white flour
1 tsp salt
1 1/2 teaspoons yeast
(i like to put a couple of tablespoons of flax seed flour in my mix, it is flavorful and has many health benefits!)

Place ingredients as listed in bread machine or mixer
cover and let rise to double in size
roll 3/4 in thick on floured surface and use 3-4" cutter or 3-4" round item to cut dough, place on lightly oiled baking sheet, cover and double in size
bake at 350 10-15 min until light golden brown.
slice in half for buns or use in place of bread... use your imagination and enjoy!
