Remembering Disney Land!

It has been a year this April since my sister and her husband took us to Disney Land. I thought it would be fun to see these again since our birthdays are coming up this month and April!
This was my favorite ride out of all of them.. the Pirate's of the Caribbean!

She is our princess for sure! She fits right in don't you think?!

Apparently 3 girls weren't enough to pull the sword from the stone! Any volunteers?!

Ross does not like to spin at all! Raelene and Jerry were having fun trying to make their dad sick!

We had so much fun getting pictures with the different characters at Disney Land and California Adventure. If we could all be as flexible as her!

Is this supposed to be what I am going to look like when I am her age?! If so, not too good!

Scooby-Doo Mom...

Most of the time my little Brayden comes into my room, sometimes at 2 am and asks to watch Scooby-Doo! I have never known a kid who loves to watch this movie more than him! It has become almost a daily routine! You gotta love it! Too bad his sense of time wasn't a little better!

The things that I am not...

So I have been thinking today and lately about the things I am not considered to be good at by the world's standards..
I am not a seamstress, however I try each day to sew seeds of hope, love, encouragement, peace, kindness and faith in my family.
I am not a musician, but I try to create harmony within my family and listen to the sounds of laughter, joy, sorrow and hope that each day brings.
I am not a professional photographer. I do try to capture the moments of our family's life that will last forever in my mind and also archive them for future references.
I am not an artist. But I do try to help cultivate the different talents that my children have and teach them to see the beauty all around them. I do not create any masterpieces that would win me a ribbon or medal, however, I am in the process of creating 3 beautiful masterpieces that will take me a life time! Their names are: Jerry, Raelene and Brayden!
I am not a chef or a professional baker. Although there are times that my family wishes I was! But I try to take the many different ingredients in life such as: love, patience, charity, honesty, integrity, endurance and hope and bake up something wonderful that will last forever.
I am not a beauty pagent winner. But to my Heavenly Father and my husband I am beautiful and that is what is most important to me to remember about beauty. Not only that but to teach my children that true, lasting beauty comes from within.
So even though I may not have the things that the world says I should, I try to do the best I can in my Heavenly Father's eyes and teach my children the things that He would have me teach them. I am grateful for my blessings. I am grateful to be a wife of an amazing husband and a mother to 3 beautiful, wonderful children of God!

Move over Mrs. Doubtfire!

I have amazing kids! Ross and I were gone running errands tonight and when we came home, the house was completely clean, dogs fed and taken potty, Brayden had his pj's on and diaper was changed!! I feel so blessed to have such wonderful helpers who love their parents! I know who to hire from now on!

Sleep like a dog?

Ross took this picture not long ago. Kato thought Raelene made a good pillow!

Fetch Brayden, Fetch! Good Boy!

Fetch!

Now all you have to say is "out" and he will release the ball!

And why do we have a dog when Brayden learns fetch faster than any dog we have ever trained before!! His dad taught him this trick!

A Mole in One?

I am a little nervous today because I am going to get a mole cut out of the back of my neck. I normally wouldn't be nervous since this is my 13th one, however, I had one come back malignant melanoma just after I had Brayden and it was a very scary deal.. could have been if Ross hadn't seen it. So just a little nervous today and I pray that it will turn out benign. Any way it makes for an interesting day nonetheless!

Are you man enough?

Ladies, I have the most incredible husband in the world! He came to me tonight with tweezers in his hand and asked me if I would pluck his eye brows because they are getting to bushy! How many husbands would ask their wives to do that.. of course it is kind of fun to watch him suffer just a little bit! But I love him soo much. He is my hero for sure!

Anyone need an architect?

Raelene obviously had too much time on her hands to put this together! But even I couldn't have done this good, nor had the patience... I have amazing kids.. if I ever need anything built, I know who to turn to!

Can I be next?

Brayden is enjoying a massage from his daddy! Can I have a turn next?

Bye Bye Toothbrush...

Reading one of my friend's blog reminded me of the other morning of something that Brayden did. He loves to flush the toilet, especially if he puts something in it! So he decided it would be fun to watch his toothbrush get flushed down the toilet! I am glad one of us had a good time! Luckily it didn't plug the toilet up.

It's a Crappy job but someone needs to do it!

Ok, so have you ever had one of those days? Where you just want to throw in the towel? Well, I did today. My dear family has been sick, but my husband has caught the worst of it. So, he was to be at the dr. office this afternoon by 3:30pm to get his throat cultered for strep. He called me 2 hours before and said that his truck that he is borrowing from his dad broke down on his way home near Middleton. So being the good wife that I am... I loaded up Brayden and Raelene and of course our puppy and headed to rescue my husband in distress! However, on the way there... the puppy decided he couldn't wait to go potty so he did the natural thing and went in his kennel. But went he did... he pooped all over the kennel and of course had to spread it all around!! Oh my word did it ever stink in that van! So I pulled over, had Raelene hold him while I did a crappy job of cleaning out the kennel! Then headed off to save my husband! Luckily, we made it in time to get him into the dr and thankfully he does not have strep.. just feels well, crappy! But he is a good sport about it all. And I love him dearly. So there is a good end to this eventful day and will continue later....

Brayden is learning to potty train!

Wow, we are making progress! Baby steps though... he is actually showing some interest in using his little potty chair! He has been going into the bathroom when his daddy goes and today he actually went on his own! However, no one was there to give him atta boys! So now, I will be potty training twice as much..one is the puppy and second is Brayden.. as long as I don't get them switched and take Brayden outside and the puppy in the bathroom! Now the fun starts...

Slide show

The first couple pictures are of Ross and I taken at Wild Rose Park here in Emmett. The next one is of Brayden on Tiska at G&G's house in Cascade. The rest of them are taken at the Boise, ID Temple where my mom and step-dad were sealed to each other in September 2008. It was a special moment for all of us and are grateful to friends and family who shared this special occasion with us!

Here is Brayden with Kreitn... too many nn's! Gets confusing... Not sure which one is happier to have someone finally their size!

Our new addition to the family!

Well, here we go again trying to puppy train! I think that the job has been left up to me to house train Kreitn! This is Jerry's little guy that he is going to hunt with and that his dad is going to help him train. He is a Pudel Pointer, in our opinion they are the best versatile hunting dogs and family dogs!
